March On

It is a sunny day in LA,
but it's cold and it's suppose to rain.
How are you today?

Time to Share

I have discovered so many beautiful pictures of art and antiques, architecture, interior design, and fashion, and merely stashed them away in folders on my computer or in files on the internet. I have some of everything from fairy tale castles, romantic chateaus and villas, to cozy cottages, and amazing modern architecture and all the furnishings you might find inside and beautiful landscaping outside, to the people who I imagine might occupy such places.

My journeys have lead me to other wonderful bloggers, creative people, manufacturers, shops and websites that you might like to know about as well. I hope you don't mind if I share them with you without any particular rhyme or reason, but just because I think you might like them too. Well... I can't resist writing a story for fun now and then.

So without further ado...

Rainy Days

It's a rainy cold Sunday and a good day for blogging.

I discovered some new blogs,
especially those of my new followers
and want to add them to my reader list;
however, I have been stopped by the
"blogging police" and issued a warning:

"You are already following the maximum number of Blogs (300).
Unfollow some other blogs first."

I don't want to delete my fellow bloggers who's
interior design, fashion and creativity I so admire!
Does everybody else have this restriction?
Is there a way to add more without deleting some?

I hope you're warm and cozy and having a good day.

Time and Time Again

Happy 10-10-10
at 10:10:10 am & 10:10:10 pm

Only once in a hundred years,
will this time ever pass us by again.

Yet each moment comes only once in our lives,
then forever passes us by.

Thinking about where Ive been,
Wondering... should I go down that path again?

Whats around the other corner?
Better pause a moment to wonder...

and ponder...
before I just wander.

More of the same?
Humm... I think it's time to change.

Laundry Room & Christmas Inspiration

Thought you'd like to see something other than my messy laundry room! I really appreciate everyones help and advice on my laundry room makeover. I have learned about many new ideas, and how to do things that I didn't think of or know about before. Thank you so much!

I can tell it's going to take me a while to transform my laundry room
but I haven't given up. Although now my laundry room is gonna have to share my attention with Christmas for a while too!

I'm collecting ideas and pictures of laundry rooms for inspiration too.
I'm leaning towards creating something cozy, perhaps a combination of French country and Italian villa. It's got to double as a storage room for now too. I want the decor to go with the rest of my home which is old Spanish Colonial with antiques. I'll post inspiring pictures later.

In the meantime, I found this pretty blog belonging to Sara and her Mom Abbey called Sweet Magnolia's Farm and thought you'd like it too. The link takes you to their new blog. They made the clothespin bag. They sell things they make in their Sweet Magnolias Farm etsy store.
I love those big clothes pins!

You'll find this box of Little Duchess Laundry Blue and
other antiques and treasures in their etsy store too.

They have beautiful Winter White Candy Canes and
lots of Christmas goodies in their etsy store.

Sara made this Old St. Nick Christmas bag too. They had an older blog a while back called Sweet Magnolias Antiques and Primitives that still has some lovely pictures and posts up.

I hope you are having a wonderful week!

A Beautiful Busy Day

I have a busy day,

And must be on my way.

I'm to meet my brother in town,

No time to linger around.

He has treasures for me to store,

Of delightful measure I'm sure to adore.

Don't worry, I will return soon,

Before tonight's shimmering moon.

I hope you have a beautiful day to treasure!
